The Salamanca Province

Salamanca Province is located towards the south west side of the Leon and Castile and it has its border with Portugal and Extremadura. This province is stretched on an area of twelve thousand three hundred and thirty six square kilometer. The province of Salamanca lies on the Northern highland of Spain and it includes some part of the Duero River System. Along with the Duero River System, there is a lot of growth of bushes and trees because of the poor cultivation over the years.

The climate of the Salamanca Province is dominated with winter as this season is comparatively long on this part of the Spain. The average minimum temperature during the winters in this province remains almost six degree Celsius and it never increases more than twenty two degree Celsius.

Salamanca province has a population of almost one hundred and eighty thousand inhabitants but this city still gives an impression of a big village. The language used by the inhabitants in Salamanca is pure Castilian Spanish and this is the reason that this city is famous in the whole world among those individuals who are interested in learning Spanish.
